On what working basis do you model?: Part Time
How long have you been modeling?: 5 years
What do you enjoy most about modeling?: Travel, easy money and pretty pictures to look at when I’m old and gray.
How did you get involved in modeling?: I did a headshot session with a great LA based photographer for my acting. We took some fashion shots too which I published on my online networking sites… got scouted from there more or less.
What would you say is the highlight of your modeling career?: Hard to say, there are many great experiences to choose from. Maybe if I had to say one shoot, I’ll go with one I did on the Great Wall of China in the summer of ’09, I’d always wanted to do that, and it was pretty epic. Loved every second of it. That structure is very humbling.
What would you say is your lowlight of your modeling career?: Hmm… haven’t really thought of that. I don’t think I have one. Lol. Must have forgotten. I don’t dwell on such things.
What do you think is the biggest challenge for a model working in the mainstream?: I think the biggest challenge in modeling is being born with the right genetics. The rest is pretty easy unless you have serious mental issues. Which are probably genetics again, so I’ll stick to that, lol.
How do you keep fit?: I work out 3-4 times a week on a good week. I eat high protein things. Other than that I eat whatever I want.
Keeping active in general is a huge help. Once again, genetics have helped me out quite a bit on this front too.
What do you like to do when you are not modeling?: Act. I’m an actor. That is what I want to do in life, and that is why I’m based in LA.
Any modeling goals you want to achieve?: Financial goals mostly. Perhaps a fragrance campaign would be cool. Won’t say no to something that puts my face all over the world in general. Unless it’s a herpes campaign, lol.
Do you see yourself continuing to model in the next 5-10 years?: Yes, part time. And once I strike gold as an actor, modeling usually follows on some level too. I will take what comes at me.
Do you any words of advice for new upcoming, aspiring models?: If you don’t have the genetics, height, shape, features, then forget about it. You are meant for other things, and this life is not as glamorous as it seems from the outside anyways. To those of you who do have all this, keep at it, do tests with good photographers, market yourself on social sites, and scouts will find you, agencies will take you on. If they do not, something is probably missing from your genetics. This is not a hard business. And stay away from excessive drug use. Lol. Be a professional.
